FanDuel and WSC partner with sports to bring the best attractions to sports players

FanDuel Group and WSC Sports signed a partnership agreement on Friday to make major golf events available on the operator's betting app.

First U.S. operator to deliver top sports news on mobile devices

FanDuel Group today signed a partnership to bring WSC Sports golf highlights to its betting app . The iGaming operator said in a statement that this is the first time a U.S. gambling company has offered bettors major sporting events .

Tel Aviv-based WSC Sports generates content from live sports broadcasts via artificial intelligence and provides FanDuel users with real-time golf highlights . Its proprietary technology enables video editors to use artificial intelligence to create short custom videos by automatically identifying events occurring during live broadcasts. This content can then be shared on any digital platform. The WSC Sports platform is currently able to analyze and create content from 17 different sports .

This deal enhances the FanDuel player experience, said the company's CEO and vice president of sports content Adam Kaplan . "We are taking the use of the FanDuel Sportsbook app beyond simply placing bets," he said. "Now our customers will receive the best events each week that will be delivered to them for consumption and action."

Content for golf for now

FanDuel and WSC offer real-time in-app integrations to keep players up to date on the bets and events they are watching. "Part of our ongoing focus is to provide a fully integrated experience that gives our customers the ability to track and interact in real-time with the sports they care about," - Kaplan stated.

Although FanDuel users will initially only have access to golf highlights , the agreement can be expanded to include more sports . WSC Sports' technology platform automates content creation for more than 150 broadcasters and sports leagues worldwide, including the NBA, NHL, ESPN, NASCAR, YoutubeTV, FIBA, Bleacher Report and Eleven Sports .

According to Aviva Arnon , co-founder and vice president of business development at WSC Sports, the start-up and FanDuel have some of the biggest players in the sports and betting industry as partners , "providing synergy between [the two] teams" . Both also aim to improve the player experience , he said.
