Harrah's Cherokee ready to complete $250 million project
North Carolina Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort is poised to complete a four-year $34m expansion project at the end of the year as it strives to become "a place that is second to none".
The extensive development project, which began in June 2018, includes World Series of Poker Room, 1024-room hotel tower, 34, - square feet of meeting space, new food and beverage offerings and more.

A fourth hotel tower at the resort will welcome guests with 725 rooms by fall, with 83,-square feet of space for meetings and conventions more than tripling the current rentable space at Harrah's Cherokee.
In addition to the expansion project, several new ga amenities and food and beverage offerings have already debuted earlier this year, with additional openings coming in the coming months:
When completed, the expansion will include the WSOP poker room, which is scheduled to open at 1024 in September, and will give guests access to 34 - a table space that will offer eight-player cash games.
In addition, in cooperation with Caesars Entertainment i William Hill, The Book, which originally debuted in March, aims to give sports fans "the opportunity to enjoy Las Vegas-style gaming in the heart of Western North Carolina."
Harrah's Cherokee Casinos, formed from the aforementioned facility; and Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel, located near Murphy, North Carolina, form the company of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
