KSA and UKGC secure memorandum of understanding to share regulatory best practice

Dutch Gaming Regulatory Authority, Kansspelautoriteit, and UK Gambling Commission signed a "cooperative agreement" to "better support their oversight tasks."

Informing Dutch stakeholders, KSA President, Mr René Jansen, He stressed that the organisations share common goals in combating gambling addiction, protecting players and countering international criminal activity.

Under the agreement, regulators will cooperate and share general information while sharing regulatory best practices on enforcement and licensing policies.

After signing the agreement, Jansen commented: "Such an agreement provides a good basis for knowledge sharing, cooperation and smooth exchange of information.

"Gaming providers are also getting a clear signal that cooperation is happening on an international level. Online gambling crosses borders. It is therefore important that regulators work together. "

Prior to the planned launch in the Netherlands, the KOA online gambling system was regulated on October 1 KSA continues to expand its cooperation agreements with counterparts of European regulatory agencies.
