PokerBaazi and Asian Poker Tour Plan first ever India Online Series
PokerBaazi and the Asian Poker Tour (APT) are coming together to create an exciting new opportunity for Indian poker players to compete in the inaugural APT India Online Series on January 15, 2021.
First ever ATP India Online Series
Indian online gambling giant PokerBaazi.com has announced an exciting new partnership with the Asian Poker Tour (APT) - the largest organiser tournaments of poker in Asia. The partnership is expected to result in the first ever ATP India Online Series in the coming year and will likely attract a lot of players, especially considering the huge prize pool of over £81 million (~$1.1 million).
The series is scheduled to begin on January 15, 2021 and will be exclusively available to Indian players. Participants will compete for a sizeable prize pool in dozens of tournaments over a period of 12 days. The final will take place on January 26. The main tournament has a guaranteed prize of around 270,000 $, and the rest of the pot will be split between the other 47 tournaments in the series. The event will be held on PokerBaazi's own online gambling platform.
Players will also compete for prestigious trophies and rings. The winners of the main, mini and championship events will receive an ATP trophy and ring in addition to the cash prize. The winners of the nine other events will also receive ATP trophies.
Tickets for the main tournament can be won in a series of satellite tournaments. Satellite tournaments will be hosted on PokerBaazi starting December 9.
